‘The Mall’ Special Events Dates
Gas & spring weapon only days
These are a completely different style of day than normal open days and a chance for players to break out the pistols and shotguns. All players are restricted to weapons that use gas or spring power and have to run on single shot but have no limits on ammunition. The day will also be loaded with new games that have never been used before on regular open days. Numbers are also limited even more than open days so all the action becomes more tactical and sneaky. Gas and Sping games are normaly on the last Saturday of each month.
Terminator Salvation – FilmSim event
*POSTPONED UNTIL 2010* Take all the best bits from the Terminator movie franchise and stuff it into an Airsoft MilSim event. Bookings will be open for a maximum of 25 players who will be the resistance and carry out missions to take down Skynet. You will be up against a dedicated crew of staff/LARP characters and a heavy mix of special effects. This is not a standard Airsoft event and will have a rigid set of rules in order for you to fully immerse yourself in the event. More details to follow shortly.
World War Z - themed survival horror events
We have put back our zombie events until early next year. This is to enable us to assemble the crew needed to make them rather special. These will take the form of a mixture of Airsoft and LARP (Live Action Roleplay) where 20-25 Airsoft players will book up to play the part of survivors cut off from the outside world and will be up against a dedicated crew of 30-50 Zombies. As airsofters, you will not have to play out LARP characters but will have to interact with the story and characters you come across in order to survive. The survivor team will be split into 3 groups and will have very specific restrictions on load outs and dress code;
Civilian: This will be the largest group and made up of a rag tag bunch of survivors that have managed to make their way to The Mall and survived the initial outbreak…. So far.
Police: Small unit of surviving armed police officers who have been barricaded up The Mall since the outbreak took hold. Supplies are short and the situation is dire.
Military: Small Special Forces unit dropped on to the roof to rescue survivors and secure any supplies. Not necessarily in that order….
The event will run all day and survivors will NEED to work as a team to survive. This will not just be about shooting zombies, in fact ammunition will be severely limited with only a few opportunities to get more…. maybe. Areas that have never been seen or played so far in The Mall will be used and you will need to figure out how to build your defences to stop the un-dead horde from over-running your positions. There will also be plenty of surprises along the way. A full set of Rules and story will be posted with the date announcement.
