The Mall

'The Mall' is a truly unique CQB Airsoft site with nothing else like it in Europe, if not the world. Based in the Friars Walk shopping centre in the heart of Reading town Berkshire, First & Only Airsoft offers an unparalleled Airsoft gaming experience. The site is a self contained L shaped mall spread across 3 levels with over 250,000sq ft of shop space, walkways, stair cases, lower ground storage rooms, service corridors and loading bays. Whether you like your action up close and personal or over bigger areas with lots of sneaky play, 'The Mall' has everything.

The site has regular open days every weekend on a Sunday but we also run regular themed and specialist events (gas/spring, milsim, etc). These can be themed on popular computer games, movies, military/law enforcement missions and our personal favourite – Zombie Survival (Dawn of the Dead, anyone?). Private bookings at ‘The Mall’

First and Only Airsoft offer various packages to organisations, teams or individual event organisers who wish to hire out ‘The Mall’ as a private venue. We can work with you to ensure your scenarios will work in the environment or write/run them for you if you want to be ‘hands-off’. Site FPS Limits

328fps (+5% variance) on ALL RIF's. (With 0.2g BBs) Chronograph will be in operation at the start and during the day. For normal days, unless advertised otherwise, there are no ammo/mag capacity limits. Some areas of the game area will be single shot only, therefore RIF's that are incapable of firing on single shot will not be allowed in those areas.
Pyrotechnics Rules

Only pyrotechnics sold by First & Only or made by TLSFx will be allowed on site. BFG's are allowed but only with 9mm blanks, 6mm short Blanks or caps. Only non-toxic or non-military smokes can be used on site with a max burn of 60 sec and have no effect other than screening. A grenade or thunderflash going off in a room means instant kill to all occupants unless behind hard cover (concrete wall, barrier etc). In larger and open areas, a grenade will instant kill every player within 15ft radius unless behind hard cover (concrete wall, barrier etc).

Lunch is included in price and includes jumbo hotdog roll, Drink, chocolate bar & a bag of crisps. Free tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits avaliable all day. Town centre parking also included.
On-Site Facilities

Working power sockets, lighting, Men & Women's toilets, kitchen, shop, onsite battery charging, changing areas and dedicated customer car parking. The on-site shop will sell BB's, Pyrotechnics, gas and a range of other Airsoft equipment at competitive prices.

Booking

All places must be booked in advance and the total number of players will be fixed. Booking is on a first come, first served basis. To book, please email- firstandonlyreading@hotmail.co.uk with; game date, all names of who are attending, contact details and package type (walk-on, hire package etc.) Book early to avoid disappointment!!

Opening times:
- Arrival on site from 8:15am
- Game briefing from 9:30am – Game starts 10:00am (late players will miss the first game which is 45min!!)
- Game finishes 4:30pm
The car park will be open from 8:15am to 9:30 when it will be closed to entry. If you need to make special arrangements, please call the main contact number provided at the time of booking.

The main site does not have a direct postcode but the one below is for the NCP car park directly opposite. If you are using Satnav or working from a map, use this postcode to get you on to Garrard St and then follow the last steps on the directions below:

Directions from the M4 Motorway

On the M4 - exit motorway at junction 10 (READING (E)//A329(M)).
After 400 yards take a slight right, follow sign [signposted: READING (E)/A329(M)].
After 1 mile continue straight onto A329(M) (A329(M)).
Take A3290 for 3 miles, continue straight onto the ramp / slip road.
After 500 yards, enter the roundabout and take the 1st exit onto LONDON ROAD(A4).
After 1 mile turn right onto SIDMOUTH STREET.
After 300 yards turn left onto QUEEN'S ROAD (A329).
Take QUEEN'S ROAD for 200 yards and continue straight on.
Take A329 for 0.5 miles. Taking a slight right, continue along A329 (A329)
Take A329 for 700 yards, continue straight onto the ramp / slip road.
After 400 yards, enter the roundabout and take the 3rd exit onto FRIAR STREET.
After 100 yards turn left onto FRIAR STREET.
After 200 yards turn left onto GREYFRIARS ROAD.
After 200 yards turn right onto GARRARD STREET.
After 70 yards, you will see a large building on the right with a connecting bridge to the opposite side of the road joining with the NCP car park. Before the bridge, the site entrance is on the right hand side and will be marked by a F&O Banner. Dedicated Customer parking (do not enter the NCP) is on the left hand side where a member of First & Only staff will direct you to a parking space.
