First And Only Airsoft run a number of Skirmish sites around the UK. We have what we think is the best choice of skirmishing venues for airsofters of all types, from close-up tactical teamwork at The Academy, to open fields and dense woodland at Hey Wood and Matlock. Whether you prefer CQB, Woodland, FIBUA, WWII/'Nam themed games, we have somewhere you'll love.
Matlock
Being placed in the the beautiful Derbyshire dales our Matlock site is within easy traveling distance from Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield. The Matlock woodland is our most established site and covers around 20 acres of mixed natural woodland. With a purpose built carpark and full on site catering facilities this site has all you need to get out on the field.
Manchester Woodland
Our Manchester Woodland site is the biggest woodland area First and Only currently have, covering an amazing 200 acres. The play area includes not only dense forest and natural scrub but a number of rivers, bridges and dams to fight over. As with our other woodland sites we have added to the natural environment with a collection of bunker complexes and firebases to play over. The site is located 20 minutes from Manchester city centre and is within easy reach of Bolton, Wigan, Preston and Liverpool
The Academy
This is more of specialist event than a single site. We play academy game days across all our sites. They are more guided towards military simulation games with emphasis towards team work and communications . The academy is currently based at Innes School, Rochdale, a small cqb area ideally sized and constructed to our needs , but we also run academy-style games at other sites.
The Asylum
This is a fantastic mixed scenario site in the Midlands. A mix of buildings, roadways, woodland areas - a former residential hospital, it has lots to offer. The site is easily accessible, has ample parking and can accomodate a large number of players. Come and commit yourself for a day in the madhouse…
The Mall
This is the perfect place for those End of The World/Living Dead scenarios you've always wanted to play. A real shopping centre (minus the shoppers, of course) in the heart of Reading Town Centre. Not only are there shops, but lifts, escalators, CCTV, power, light, service tunnels! A fantastic venue for CQB. Well worth a trip wherever you are in the UK (or outside for that matter).
Huddersfield Woodland
Situated about 10 minutes outside Huddersfield town centre, Hey Wood has varying woodland foliage and undergrowth to contend with. As with our other woodland sites we have added to the natural environment with a collection of bunker complexes and firebases to play over. There is open grassland, dense foliage and a gulley and stream running through the middle, just great for an ambush from both ridges. Come along and try it out.
Drakelow Tunnels
Situated in the Midlands (About 3 Miles from The Asylum), Drakelow Tunnels is First and Only Airsoft's newest Urban/CQB site. But it's not quite urban - it's deep underground. There are miles of tunnels in the complex, and it's dark down there. If you hear something shuffling about in the distance, be very afraid.
