RULES
-
All
rules laid out here in shall apply to all parties without exception,
whether they are members or visitors.
-
The
phrase site refers to all gaming areas and all other properties
owned or leased by the company.
-
The
playing area is defined as the First and Only Airsoft Site and players
should not play in any other area. Area boundaries will be defined
and enforced by marshalls.
-
The
management reserves the right to refuse admission and/or exclude
any individual or groups it deems necessary from the site without
explanation, where they deem circumstances may require.
-
All
members and visitors must sign in before entering any part of the
site (excluding the car park)
-
The
management’s decision is final and binding in all circumstances.
-
The
appointed marshal’s are the official representatives of the
FOA management.
-
Due
to Insurance restrictions no one under the age of 13 may play at
the site. Persons aged between 13 and 16 must be accompanied by
a legally responsible adult (or a appointed competent person).
-
Do
not climb up or on trees.
This is not a public area and but if you encounter a member of the
public then cease all activities until they have moved out of the
area and advise a marshal of there location.

When a Marshall calls Ceasefire players will not move.
-
Some areas of the site are slippery and uneven and players should
take adequate care when entering or playing in these areas.
-
Be aware that there are fallen trees and logs on the ground and
care should be taken around them.
-
Be aware of branches that are at head height and this is another
reason that eye protection should be warn.
-
Be aware of steep gradients and these are identified by warning
signs located around the site.
-
Structures have been build to enhance the playing enjoyment but
are not permanent and adequate care should be taken not to interfere
with them so as to render them unsafe.
-
A mobile phone is available to call emergency services in the event
of an accident and there is a first aid kit provided on site as
well as qualified first aiders being available.
-
Cars are parked at owners risk.
-
Marshals - all marshals have a minimum of 30 shoots training and
are all classed as professional players. The marshal's word is final.
-
All players must sign an insurance waiver before they start the
day.
-
Any player under the age of 16 must have a parents or guardians
consent to play.
-
The site limit is 328fps with 0.2g 6mm bbs for all weapons : AEGs,
Sniper Rifles, Pistols.
-
All weapons will be chronoed at the beginning of the day. If over
the limit, that gun will not be used on site, that day. Random checks
can and will be made throughout the day.

Only grenades and smoke grenades bought from FOA or approved by
a member of staff can be used on site.
-
All safety regulations set out below will be strictly adhered to
by all parties whilst on site. Failure to comply may result in exclusion
for the offending parties

Eye protection is mandatory in the form of goggles or approved glasses,
full face protection is advised. Those wearing goggles or glasses
do so at their own risk. FOA will not accept responsibility for
injuries to the face where only goggles or glasses are worn.

Safety glasses/masks must be worn at all time in the gaming areas
without fail, this includes the walk to the safety zone when shot.
-
No fire allowed on site without the express permission and supervision
of the management or their representatives.
-
Before returning to the Safe Zone, or leaving the game area at any
point weapons must be made safe, this means the magazine should
be removed, and a single shot fired into the ground to empty the
chamber.
-
All firing must stop as soon as "End Ex" is called or
the whistle is blown. Weapons should be made safe by removing the
magazine, turning the selector to single shot and firing twice into
the ground.
-
The designated Safe Zone(s) must be strictly adhered to. This means
No magazine in weapons, safety catches must be on, no firing (dry
or otherwise) in or around the safety zone, and no pyrotechnics
to be discharged in or around the safety zone. Players will be advised
of location of the the test firing area.

When test-firing weapon, safety glasses/masks must be worn and extreme
care taken for the safety of other players.
-
If a smoke grenade is activated then do not attempt to pick it up
as it will be very hot and may burn.
-
If an airsoft grenade or flashbang is activated then do not attempt
to pick it up as it is an explosive device.
-
There will be No Smoking in the game area by players actively involved
in the game.
-
There will be No Firing at safety zones or moving through or around
them if you are still active in the game.
-
When moving between parts of the site all magazines should be removed
from weapons.
-
Players should be prepared for warm days by bringing sufficient
water to last the day. Whilst there will be water on site, as there
is no mains supply that quantity will be limited.
-
No knives of any description barring multi-tools are allowed on
site.
-
No firing of any weapons or discharging of any pyrotechnics is permitted
in the office except for the management (for testing and fault finding
purposes)
-
Injuries should be reported to a marshal who will summon the designated
First Aider.
-
A hit is anywhere on the body, including clothing, webbing and holsters
-
A hit on the weapon held in the hand or hands is not a hit. If you
think you may have been, hit take it.
-
When
a grenade or flashbang explodes all players within 5 metres are
killed.
-
When hit, shout hit, stand up and remove the magazine from your
gun and go to the designated dead zone, note these are not safe
zones and your face masks should not be removed in these areas.
-
OVERKILL – avoid overkill at all times. it only takes one
round to eliminate someone.
-
Any weapon of equipment failures do not make players exempt from
being shot, however you may declare yourself dead and retire to
the safety zone until the following game or until you have corrected
the fault
-
Once a player is dead they must make there way immediately and directly
to the designated safe zone.
The
only exceptions to this rule are the active marshals who will
be designated by armbands and will sling their weapons and take
no further part in the game proceedings

If you suspect anyone of cheating then report it to a marshal.
They will then take the appropriate action.

Cheating
is deemed not taking hits.
-
Cheating is deemed straying out of designated boundaries stated
by Marshals running the game.
-
Cheating is deemed playing dead when not.
-
Cheating is deemed straying from defensive perimeter as defined
by Marshals.
-
Cheating is deemed using a weapon above the clubs specified
limits.
-
Cheating is deemed dead player communicating by word, gesture,
radio or any other means to players still active in the game.
-
There will be no cheat calling.
-
Verbal abuse, threats of violence and assault will result in
the player(s) being told to leave the site. Players should be
aware that if the matter is deemed to be so serious after investigation
that, the management reserve the right to ban players from the
site.

All players are thanked for their co-operation in abiding by
the above rules at all times. These have been compiled to prevent
any confusion arising from games and to ensure that the site
is run safely for the benefit and enjoyment of all. If you have
